Loie Fuller: Traces of Light

This site is a companion to the book "Traces of Light: Absence and Presence in the Work of Lo?Øe Fuller", published by Wesleyan University Press. It contains images of Loie Fuller, as well as video of dances by author and dancer Ann C. Albright, which were created in response to her research into Loie Fuller's dance and lighting design. The site includes a multimedia exploration combining prose, poetry, spoken word and image, where Albright attempts to articulate the theoretical implications of her embodied approach to history.
